Emails Won't Send

Typical issues when emails won't send involve making sure that you have the correct SMTP Port set and that you are using SSL if your smtp provider requires it.

If using Google Gmail as you're SMTP server you may need to follow the instructions below:

1. Click the following link to take you to your Google Privacy settings. https://myaccount.google.com/security#activity

2. Make sure the setting 'Allow Less Secure Apps' is set to ON.

3. Make sure the 'Send Email From or As' box in the PlayoutONE Application matches the gmail email / username you are using.
